2 C0r. 8:9 “For we know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich”
“For you know the grace …. The question really is ….Do you? It is the grace of God that has made us saints which makes God to forever reach out to man on a continual basis. God is always reaching out to man- that’s Grace.
If when we were sinners He saved us by His grace, how much more will He save us now? Grace should make a believer fall in love with God, because He didn’t hold anything back. It is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance, Grace is His goodness.
After all Israel (typified in Gomer – the prostitute God asked Hosea to marry) did in the book of Hosea (Chapter1-11), God still loved them. That’s grace.
Romans 5:15-16 ‘but not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God. And the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many and not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift; for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification”
By Adam’s one sin, many were made guilty, in giving the gift it is not like that, it is that many offences are covered by this gift, and you can’t tell how many.
God is not after pushing any of one His children out, not even the whole world; He is not waiting with a cane to bash you. He does not want to give the devil any cause to laugh over Him, He will strength Himself to the last to help you. He will do everything to hold you to His bosom.
Grace still covers you. “God will heal your waywardness and love you lavishly…”(amp.) Understand this!
